Mission
  • REYL & Cie Ltd, an entity of the ISP group is looking for a Transaction Monitoring Officer with the objective to strengthen its Compliance and AML team. Organized, curious and proactive, you will be supporting the team in its daily activities with a special emphasis on Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions.
Responsabilités


Anti-Financial crime

  • Opening and termination of business relationships, including prospects’ analysis, risk-classification of business relationships and AML monitoring 
  • Provide recommendation for account acceptance or rejection
  • Day-to-day compliance-related activities, checks, and inspections
  • Perform 2nd Line of Defense controls on AML monitoring
  • Liaise with Front Office on outstanding issues related to KYC and KYT
  • Perform enhanced due diligence on PEP, risk countries, risk sectors and other risk-generating factors
  • Conduct periodic reviews 
  • Maintain file and documentation for Audit and Supervisory body. Ensure proper document retention
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations and clarifications of third-party adverse news and anomalous transactional behaviour, report to Line Managers and Head of Compliance and AFC
  • Upkeep of compliance-related directives 
  • File SARs to MROS and ensure proper follow-up

Sanctions & Embargos 

  • Support the monitoring of Sanctions & Embargos regulations
  • Support activities related to the management of Sanctions & Embargos

Specific issues on a case-by-case basis

  • Participation to Staff training (e.g. code of conduct, AML, cross border, etc.)
  • Provide Line Managers and Head of Compliance with regular reporting
Profile
  • University studies in Swiss law or equivalent professional training 
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of transactional monitoring and knowledge of international sanctions
  • Very good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework in terms of AML and CDB
  • Very good analytical skills to assess the economic background of transactions
  • Written and oral proficiency in French and English, another language an asset
  • Reliable and honest personality, proactive and able to work independently
  • Know how to manage priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, GTSanctions, PM1, FINNOVA, NetGuardian
  • Place to work could be Geneve/Zurig/Lugano
  • Swiss nationality (or C permit) with Swiss residence
